"It's brilliant. I loved that it's written deftly and with great charm. I found it moving, well-plotted, and pleasurable. This is a well-crafted story with an underlying message about the power of constantly fighting for your life, even if it's a terrible one. Bradley J. Knefelkamp's clever use of descriptive language and character development, coupled with difficult challenges such as escaping enslavement, not losing one's identity, and not giving up searching for a better place to live, make Escape from Gehenna a must-read."

You and your kids will love it! Return to Gehenna continues the story of the five kids who escaped from the mines of Tartarus. A fast-paced read full of adventure and depth, yet at a reading level for ages 8 and up. Great story, compelling read. Kids will love it!"

"The six stories of The Shoppe of Endarkenment are a great gift for horror lovers as Bradley Knefelkamp explores the monsters lurking in the darkest corners of the human soul. An unexpected and often shocking twist at the end of every tale makes the book very engaging. In my understanding, the theme of loneliness is a linking element between the stories. For me, the first story, A House of Sticks and Stones, is the most captivating. Marvelously written, it warns of the fragility of the boundaries of friendship, which is another important topic of this anthology. I will not forget the amazingly developed characters of the teenagers, Sam and Jaden, and the careless games they played with the supernatural. In my opinion, this wonderful and scary collection would make an impressive TV show, thanks to the rich imagery created by the talented author."

THE SHOPPE OF ENDARKENMENT  - Nino Lobiladze - Reader's Choice Awards

"With a nod to Edgar Allen Poe, Knefelkamp takes you on a wonderful and creepy ride fueled by curiosity, spite and more. I consumed this book on a my first airplane flight since the pandemic and it was a great escape.

"Anti opens the dark closet of human nature. In a closed door room, the mysterious narrator delivers a claustrophobic monologue steeped in antipathy and dissipation. How ironic that panoramic views of the world inspire in us sweeping feelings of beauty and human achievement, while a single droning voice, in a locked, empty room, allow us the perfect vantage point to contemplate how hatred stifles the human spirit. A great read - will hold you from the first line and will not let you go. Enter at your own risk."

ANTI - K. Shukla

"Anti is a quick, chilling read, a Twilight-Zone-worthy story. What is the difference between amoral and immoral? Anti leaves the reader with questions and a vague feeling of unease, as though the world is now viewed through a different filter...once read, you can not unread."

"An engaging short story that deals with difficult issues without becoming trite or formulaic. I can see this being an ideal book-club pick to spur thoughtful conversation and debate regarding disappointment, God and forgiveness."

PURGATORY - F. Armstrong

"Wow! What a great story! It touched home for me. I can relate to everything she is feeling. The author did an excellent job of describing exactly what she was going through. It's almost like he was inside my head , reading my own thoughts! I love how she found peace within herself through God. It's a great reminder that God will bring you peace.....you just need to listen."

REUNION - Mathu

"This is the first of his works that I've read, and I really enjoyed it. I had a completely different expectation in mind when I started it, and it took me on a fun journey, albeit a short one. I like the twists and turns in the story. It conveyed what felt like a whole novel in only 23 pages."
